BOY SCOUT TROOP 434 OUTING
Troop 434 is hiking and camping at the Providence Canyon State Park.
We will meet at the Scout Hut on Saturday, May 3, at 7:00 AM.
We will return to the Scout Hut on Sunday, May 4, at 4:00 PM.
We will hike a total of 4-6 miles. We will camp out 1 night.
Cooking will be by Patrol: 1 breakfast and 1 dinner.
Cost of trip is $5.00 for gas and ________ for patrol meals.
- Scouts should wear their green b-class shirt with hiking shorts, socks and boots.
- Scouts should bring a sack lunch in their pack that doesn't need to be kept cold.
The Campmaster for this trip is ed Cerbone at 770-330-2912. The home contact is Jerry Travers 770-883-2342. This person should be contacted in case of delays or other trouble. In case of an emergency, parents should contact the campmaster at cell phone number 770-330-2912. If contact is not made, call the home contact to contact the Troop. It may be very difficult and take considerable time to make contact, especially on a trail.

form to the Campmaster before departure. Scout will not be permitted to
participate without parental permission.
PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
Scout ____________________________________________________________
has my permission to attend this outing with BSA Troop 434. The Troop's
adult leaders also have my permission to render First Aid, should the need
arise. In the event of an emergency, I also give permission to the physician,
selected by the adult leader in charge, to hospitalize, secure proper anesthesia,
order injection, or secure other medical treatment, as needed. I further
agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents
that might occur during this outing except for clear acts of negligence
or non-adherence to BSA policies and guidelines.
