BOY SCOUT TROOP 434 OUTING
Troop 434 is going on a Troop hike on the Panther Creek Trail in the North Georgia.
We will meet at the Scout Hut on Friday, July 25 at 4:00 PM.
We will return to the Scout Hut on Sunday, July 27 at 2:00 PM.
We will hike a total of 5 miles. We will camp out 2 nights.
Other major activities: Swimming and camping advancement requirements.
Cooking will be by Patrol: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner.
Cost of trip is $5.00 for gas and $_______ for patrol meals.
- Scouts should carry their green b-class t-shirts outside of their pack to change into on Sunday after the hike.
- Scouts should bring their bathing suit and a towel in their pack.
- Scouts should bring sandals or pool shoes in their pack for use around the water only.
- Scouts should bring a sack dinner in their pack for Friday evening.
- Scouts should bring $5.00 in their pack for a fast food stop on Sunday.

It may be very difficult and take considerable time to make contact, especially
on a trail.

participate without parental permission.
PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

has my permission to attend this outing with BSA Troop 434. The Troop's
adult leaders also have my permission to render First Aid, should the need
arise. In the event of an emergency, I also give permission to the physician,
selected by the adult leader in charge, to hospitalize, secure proper anesthesia,
order injection, or secure other medical treatment, as needed. I further
agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents
that might occur during this outing except for clear acts of negligence
or non-adherence to BSA policies and guidelines.
